It starts with handmade recycled seed paper. A luxurious paper embedded with seeds that will grow a mix of 6 wildflowers when you plant it. We turn this magical paper into handmade goods for you: greeting cards, bookmarks, gift tags, and confetti. We also specialize in designing custom seed paper products. Let’s chat!
This plantable seed paper bookmark is a beautiful two-in-one gift for a book lover or for yourself! Two layers - one to plant and one to keep! The seed paper contains seeds that will grow a mix of 6 different wildflowers when planted. A beautiful, handmade, sustainable gift that you'll enjoy in your garden or in a pot AND inside your latest book!
The two-in-one design of this handmade bookmark means you can plant the outer bookmark and keep the second layer to use in your favourite books. The second layer is printed on heavyweight cardstock, typically 100% recycled cotton paper. (This paper may be substituted for a 100% recycled heavyweight cardstock when the cotton isn't available).
Choose between our adorable original strawberry illustrations and colour of bookmark! You can choose larger strawberries or smaller strawberries on the front seed paper. The second layer will be the opposite of the front print. You can also choose from white, soft purple, soft pink, or soft green for the colour of the seed paper portion of the bookmark.
Each seed paper bookmark is hand cut and measures 2" x 6" and is packaged in a clear sleeve.

Here are some tips on planting and growing your seed paper bookmark:
Plant it under a very thin dusting of soil. (Only 1/8 of an inch.)
Keep it moist during germination and ensure there is good drainage. Don’t let the water pool.
Make sure it gets plenty of sunlight! Wildflowers love the sun.

Each plantable card measures 4.25’” x 5.5” is available on white seed paper and comes with a recycled brown kraft envelope. These adorable seed paper greeting cards are designed, printed, cut, and packaged by us on wildflower seed paper that's made in Canada.

We’re big fans of wildflower seed paper and make a lot of fun seed paper products! We don’t like to waste a single piece, so we’ve turned our off-cuts, trimmings, and misprints into adorable plantable confetti! No waste is definitely a reason to celebrate!
These handmade plantable confetti packets make a great addition to any gift, are small and light enough to tuck inside a card, and are a great way to have some seed paper for yourself!
Each packet of seed paper confetti contains 5 grams of seed paper - that’s the equivalent of 1 of our seed paper greeting cards! Each piece of confetti has been hand torn and packaged by us in a handmade envelope. The pieces are irregular shapes, with each piece typically around 1” or smaller. Some pieces are plain white, some may be coloured paper, and some may have some printing on them. This does not affect the planting of the paper.
We’re happy to create custom seed paper confetti packets (like these or with a variety of special shapes) for your wedding or event! Please reach out through our website to request a custom quote.
*Please note: since we’re handmaking the envelopes, the colour of envelope you receive will be a surprise! If you require a specific colour, please leave a note with your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
