The Northern Lights. Aurora Borealis. A wonder of nature that I’m forever grateful to have grown up with. It was mesmerizing standing under a northern sky for hours, entranced with the colours and movement. Legend had it that to make the northern lights dance, you had to sing to them. I spent hours amongst the scrubby spruce trees singing to the sky, in awe of the magic above.
This design is one of the first in a new collection of hi, love. greetings wall art prints. The designs are prints of original, digital paintings by me, Melanie Sampson. The awe of the northern lights still lies deep within me, even though I no longer live in my hometown.
